Back in University (way back!), I got the nickname "Sweet Lou From The Sault." It stuck as I moved around southern Ontario and eventually landed in Waterloo. The city, the name, it all makes sense.
When I decided to launch my new cookie business, I had to name the company Sweet Lou's Cookies.
As a specialist in digital transformation, why start a cookie business?
On a road trip with my daughter, we decided to stop for cookies at 10 pm. It was packed with people and great cookies.
On another road trip with mia amore, we stopped for cookies. Again, it was extremely busy and the treats were delicious. But we looked at each other and said, "we can do much better."
Over the years I've helped many companies with digital transformations. I've spotted trends and built businesses around them. The cookie business is ready for innovation!
We love cookies, but they were lacking the flavours and textures we were craving. Why not make cookies like pizzas with toppings?
With the guidance of two women who know and love cookies, and my passion for food, we're ready to take on the cookie industry in Canada.
